Sympathetic Resonance is a live, site-responsive performance that investigates acoustic and vibrational feedback. Using custom-blown glass vessels, each designed to fit the artist’s body, filled with water and amplified via hydrophones, contact microphones, and guitar pedals, the work transforms subtle physical gestures into layered sonic environments.
Drawing on the principle of sympathetic vibration, the performance engages the resonant potential of the body, instruments, and architecture. The artist improvises in direct response to both internal somatic signals and the external acoustics of the site, generating an evolving soundscape that is shaped by the presence and proximity of the audience.
Through this embodied process, Sympathetic Resonance cultivates a sensory and emotional exchange—an invitation to listen, feel, and resonate collectively within a shared acoustic field.
