Description / Resonance explores the acoustic memory of space through AI-generated imagery and sound feedback. Historical and environmental data are used to describe a site to an AI, which generates a speculative exterior image. These images are printed and installed within the site's actual interior, creating a loop between real and imagined space.

A microphone captures the room’s resonant frequencies in response to each image, allowing the space to “speak” through its own acoustics. Referencing Alvin Lucier’s I am sitting in a room, the work replaces the human voice with architectural presence, inviting listeners to engage with a place that is simultaneously real and fictional, present and absent.
