Information Systems is a site-responsive installation created during an ArtsIceland residency. Developed from sounds and images collected while traveling Iceland’s Route 1 and Westfjords, the work is informed by the practice of Deep Listening—a slowed, attentive engagement with place.
The installation translates sensory experience into digital prints and sculptural forms that reflect how environmental information is absorbed and transformed. Information Systems invites viewers to consider sensing as an active, evolving process rather than mere documentation.
